Explore Maine Maple Sunday Weekend
Maine Maple Sunday is always the fourth Sunday in March with many sugarhouses opening their doors for both Saturday and Sunday. And there is no better place to celebrate all things Maple than in Maine's Kennebec Valley. Many Maine Maple Producers Association members in Kennebec and Somerset County offer events and activities during Maine Maple weekend (see the list below).
Did you know? Somerset County in Maine is the largest maple syrup producing county in the U.S.

Celebrating Somerset County’s status as the top maple-producing county in the United States, the Annual Skowhegan Maple Festival running from March 20 to 22, celebrates all things maple with fun activities and events for all ages, pancake breakfast, maple marshmallow roasting, a maple leaf hunt, food tasting, and more! New this year is the inaugural Maple Madness Basketball Tournament. This weekend-long event is not to be missed.
