Madison Anson Days

This summer marks the 41st Anniversary of the four day festival that has come to be known as Madison/Anson Days.

In the 1970s the celebration began as “Father Rasle Days” commemorating the historical significance of the work of the Jesuit priest along the Kennebec River near the Madison Norridgewock line. In the past few years Madison/Anson Days has seen a resurgence of activities for kids of all ages. This year the theme is “Honoring our First Responders.” The action begins on Thursday August 23rd and continues through Sunday the 26th with plenty of activities on both sides of the Kennebec River
