The goal of this interactive project is to highlight a broad range of visual perspectives while honoring the unique perspective that each member of the community brings to our shared and changing environment.
As Waterville experiences many changes to its landscape, “snap” offers a unique opportunity for community members to document their personal experiences alongside the revitalization currently taking place within the city. “snap” will document and highlight these perspectives and present them together as a community reflecting upon itself as it experiences the many changes to its built environment.
Photos can be submitted by people of all ages; prior experience is not required. Participants can use their cell phones, snapchat, instagram, etc. or digital/film cameras to submit their images. Digital images can be submitted electronically to firstname.lastname@example.org or printed images can be delivered directly to Common Street Arts during regular gallery hours (Wednesday-Friday 12-5:00 p.m.; Saturday 12-2:00 p.m.) All printed submissions will become the property of Waterville Creates! and are not able to be returned.
