Snow Tubing

Who says you need to ski or a snowboard to have fun in the mountains? Tubing offers all the thrills of sliding down a mountain, without any lessons or expensive equipment! If you're traveling with kids a gentler ride down snow-covered hills may be perfect for you and your family.

The safest place to try out a snow tube is at a tubing park where the lanes have been cleared of trees and other obstacles, plus the added benefit of a lift so you can easily go again and again. The Kennebec Valley has two dedicated snow-tubing parks (listed below).

Call ahead to reserve a session as they fill up quickly, and to check if there are minimum height requirements or other restrictions.
